Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi is today, September 8th, paying a working visit to Poland at the invitation of Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski. Foreign Ministers addressed a number of bilateral issues, including ways of boosting trade and investment ties. Minister Qureshi has informed Minister Sikorski that a number of Pakistani companies take interest in opening up their agencies in Poland and operation centres on the EU market. [全文]

Wednesday, September 8th, will see Warsaw host the 20th session of the Utrecht Conference, a Polish-Dutch forum for the exchange of ideas on European issues. The Conference was first organized in 1999 and initially served as a mechanism to back Poland’s membership of the European Union. [全文]
